The Nurturing of Passion:
I think most of us can remember that moment long ago, when we discovered that one thing that ignited our passion. We thought about it from the moment we woke until we had to go to sleep, and then waited to be able to pursue it again. If we were lucky, we carried that one thing into our adult lives or at least we carried the passion for it, which we could re-apply time and time again to overcome adversity and accomplish goals that might have seemed insurmountable to others.
These are two precious elements in our modern lives that are all too often missing due to our busy schedules and urban lifestyles. The power attributed to both music and the interaction with horses, to heal and inspire, is well documented.
We hope to ignite that passion with our little rockers and equestrians to leave a lasting impression that will help to form creative and athletic animal loving adults.
So…….What do horses and music have in common?
At ROCKIN’ HORSE ACADEMY we bring the kids out to nature, providing them a place
unencumbered by the distractions of everyday life. We provide a one stop shop for busy parents, a common ground for siblings and friends with differing interests, giving them the chance to experience something they love,
while still offering the security of being close in proximity to one another.
Besides, what’s more fun than horses and music!!

Earlier this week Rock n Roll Fantasy Camp showcased it’s current campers and counselors jamming at the Gibson showroom. Saving the best for last, Mark Farner, formerly of Grand Funk Railroad, Vocals and Guitar, Billy Sheehan on bass, Sandy Gennaro on Drums, and Mark Hudson, backup vox. This has got to be THEE BEST JAM BAND I’ve seen this year! Mark Farner’s voice sounds as good as it ever has, just unreal, powerful, yet beautiful…We got a mini concert of Hits, including Loco-motion and Some Kind of Wonderful! It was refreshing to discover why I fell in love with music at such a young age…REAL Musicians with Unbelievable TALENT!
