Earlier this week
Rock n Roll Fantasy Camp showcased it’s current campers and counselors jamming at the Gibson showroom. Saving the best for last,
Mark Farner, formerly of Grand Funk Railroad, Vocals and Guitar,
Billy Sheehan on bass,
Sandy Gennaro on Drums, and
Mark Hudson, backup vox. This has got to be THEE BEST JAM BAND I’ve seen this year!
Mark Farner’s voice sounds as good as it ever has, just unreal, powerful, yet beautiful…We got a mini concert of Hits, including
Loco-motion and
Some Kind of Wonderful! It was refreshing to discover why I fell in love with music at such a young age…REAL Musicians with Unbelievable TALENT!

FOR SALE:
This
1974 Marshall 100 watt super lead head and
1978 Marshall 4×12 slant cabinet are a perfect match made in heaven. If you are looking for
classic British Crunch, look no further.
The head has a simple master volume mod to the 2nd volume that can be restored and has Siemens EL34 tubes. Other than average wear and tear to the tolex it’s in great shape.
The cabinet has Celestion 25 watt black back speakers. Not much wear to the tolex, but it does have about a two inch vertical tear in the right bottom corner of the grill cloth.
I purchased both from my brother in ‘85 who was the original owner. This amp is one of the best sounding Marshall’s I’ve ever played through, and has served me well for many years playing around L.A.
Not looking to split up the pair.
Must pick up in Studio City, CA
Asking $3500.-
