Billy Sheehan talks about recording Billy Gibbons in his home studio, “he’s one of the most important musicians of my life” he then goes on to say, and demonstrate “(Billy Gibbons / ZZTop) is where I got my hammer-on’s and pinch harmonics from…(ZZTOP) is “one of the greatest American Bands of all-time” Billy is sincere when he talks about the guest musicians that are “important to him musically” who contributed to this new record, Tony McAlpine, Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big), and Doug Pinnick (King’s X) are among who he mentions in this short clip I recorded for WEROCKCITY last year prior to the release of “Holy Cow”.
